Hello fellow Chilli users/developers,

I have a question about the chilli_query utility.
Every now and then, a wireless client will report they are unable to connect to the network. When I execute a chilli_query search, I find that their internal chilli stat is none.

I'm a big fan of chilli_query mainly for the administrative and monitoring features it provides. I understand the dnat and pass states, but am unsure of the none state that I see clients receive every now and again.

If someone has a quick answer, or could point me to some documentation explaining this, I would appreciate it.

In case anyone was wondering or experiencing the same issue, the following is how I get around it.
Using chilli_query, manually log the client out.

chilli_query logout XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX

If you have MAC authentication enabled, the client should be automatically authenticated. If not, they will be redirected to the web portal or authentication page where they can retry or re-authenticate.
