hot spot config wont load

Please help. I received this error after updating the firmware. I even used tftp to go to the linksys firmware and upgraded again to coova, thinking it would fix it, no good. Is it possible to reinstall ? or a fix for this?

Solution: Manually remove the single-quotes

I had the same problem, and it turns out that I had configured my Hotspot's "Location" with strings that had single-quotes (the character ' ) in them.

To check this, try SSH-ing to your router, and running the following command (from after the $):

$ nvram show | grep \'

Is you see anything with a single quote (the character ' ), then change it!

For example, to change hs_loc_name, do:

$ nvram set hs_loc_name="My great place"

I'm having recieving the below error message when I'm in the web ui and try to clock on the hotspot tab. I updated the location name which included a ' in it. Please help.

Well it works now, I dont know what I did. I tried to TFTP back to linksys firmware but couldnt get it , then I pushed the Reset button while unplugging and plugging in. must have been one of those things.

I am setting up Free WIFI for My Arbys Restaurant.

Sorry I should have gave more detail, everything else works, except when I go to the hot spot page, then I receive the error . Originaly the hotspot did work, then I saved some changes and it locked up. I loged back in, and since then it does not let me into hotspot. I am thining that some of the settings were messed up when I interupted saving changes.

By any chance, did you use a single quote (') in your hotspot location name (or any field in the user interface)?

Which browser are you using? Have you tried firefox ?
IE sometimes has troubles.
