Does there exist a good guide to setting up the CoovaAP? I am new to Coova.org. I flashed a Linksys WRT54GL AP with the latest CoovaAP firmware. All I want to do is to use it for a simple wireless hotspot that presents a disclaimer page and perhaps does some bandwidth shaping/control. Any help is appreciated.

Hi, Coova looks great if you only want a disclaimer page. You can do it this way:

Set up your network in Network > Wan so your router can access the internet

Set up according to your need Network > Wireless (ex change the broadcasted name of your network: the SSID)

Then go to Hotspot > Configuration under "HotSpot Configurations" you have a link for "Simple TOS page" click on it and your router will be auto configured for showing a disclaimer page

You can then change the disclaimer page going to Hotspot > Portal and edit the "TOS accept form"

You may also have to go to Hotspot > Status ans click on start Coova Chilli

Then everything should work, don't ask me for more advanced features, I am still looking (see my other posts)... and David's help would be more than welcome :)
